Happy #ThursdayWordDay!

Today's word is "stroboscope," which, I think, is much more awesome than a microscope.

Merriam-Webster says...
stroboscope: noun. 1) an instrument for determining the speed of cyclic motion (as rotation or vibration) that causes the motion to appear slowed or stopped.

I wish I had a stroboscope to measure my cat's speed as she runs around in circles while chasing the laser. She just looks like a blur of tabby stripes.

Join in on the #ThursdayWordDay fun on Twitter and let me know how you used the word today!
