Thursday Word Day: Insouciant

Happy #ThursdayWordDay, word nerds!

If only I had one of those Big Mouth Billy Bass things that hangs on the wall (you know, that talking fish that sings "Don't Worry, Be Happy" when you walk by) to illustrate today's word of the day.

The word is "insouciant" and it's a good thing one of my readers, Aidee Ladnier (who has a super cool blog), told me about it because I'd never heard it before!

Dictionary.com says, "insouciant: adjective. 1) free from concern, worry, or anxiety; carefree; nonchalant."

I think Big Mouth Billy Bass would approve.
