Get Book Recommendations for the Lit Lovers in Your Life!

Gift-giving season is upon us! And believe me, I know how hard it is to buy presents for book lovers.

That’s why I want to help. Whether you’re buying for family, friends, or are treating yourself, I want to help you find the perfect books for the special book nerd in your life.

If you want book recs, click here and tell me a little about the person. If you know what books and genres they’ve enjoyed in the past, that’s super helpful.

I’ll answer your question anonymously on the blog with enough time for you to shop before the holidays.

I do this every year and am continuously impressed by the unique recommendation requests I get and later the emails about how much the recipient loved their books. Getting to help you be book Santa is so much fun! Plus, the whole community benefits from the recommendations I give for each person who writes in because inevitably someone will write me later and say they got one of the books for someone they know and that person loved it.

If you’d like to see the recommendations from previous years, check out the ones from 2016, 2018, and 2019. (Not sure what happened in 2017. Maybe I forgot?) I also give book recommendations in the Ask a Book Nerd advice column like this, this, and this. Seriously, ask me anything.

Even if you’re not inclined to buy books for other people, you can still get recs for yourself! There’s no shame in submitting a recommendation request for yourself. It’s been a hard year. I get it! You don’t even have to say it’s for a “friend of a friend.” :)

I’ll even help you find the books at affordable prices from an indie bookstore so you don’t have to resort to Amazon Crime. A win-win!

I’m so looking forward to helping you find the perfect books to make the holiday special. Submit your recommendation request here and I’ll get back to you soon.
