I've got an essay up on Electric Literature!

As I’m typing this, I’m so excited I can hardly function.

Electric Literature has been one of my bucket list publications for years and after they rejected about 12 submissions of mine, I thought they’d never publish me.

But they did! My essay, “Worshipping at Jerry Springer’s Daytime Altar” is up!

It’s about cursing, my great-grandmother, The Jerry Springer Show, and mythology. Everyone who’s read it so far has told me they got sucked in quick. Expect to be thoroughly entertained.

Please read it and share it with your friends. And, if you like, let me know what you think!

I really appreciate you supporting my work. If you like what you read in this piece, be on the lookout for my essay collection that’ll be published at some undetermined date in the future. And if you’re a literary agent or know an agent, hit me up/send ‘em my way. This book on my half Southern, half Palestinian family is like nothing else out there right now.
