I’ve got a shred of good news in the midst of this deeply un-fun year. My essay “White Walls and Yellow Wallpaper” was published in Lifelines Magazine, which is part of the medical school at Dartmouth College.

You’ll be glad to know the essay has nothing to do with coronavirus! It’s about how the medical establish ignores women’s pain.

Annnnndddd it’s about that time I went to the ER for severe abdominal pain and they threatened to send me to the psych ward if I didn’t stop complaining about the pain. Fun times!

I’d so appreciate it if you’d give it a read. I’m on page 44.

I’m grateful for your support and I can’t wait to share more writing with you soon.
