I'm thankful for you

I’m not a big fan of Thanksgiving in concept because of its racist colonizer history, but I am a fan of practicing gratitude.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t say how thankful I am for you today and every day.

Thank you for reading my blog, sharing my posts, and spreading the love of books and reading.

Thank you for the thoughtful way you engage with me.

Thank you for sharing countless books I didn’t know about before you recommended them to me.

Thank you for having lunch with me and going book shopping with me in your cities.

Thank you for being my friends from states and countries and continents away.

Thank you for reading my writing.

Thank you for the gift of your time and attention.

Sure, I could nerd out about books in a vacuum, but doing it with a community makes it so much more rewarding and worthwhile. Thanks for being a part of it all.

I hope you get some good reading in this holiday weekend––I know I plan to! And if you go Black Friday shopping, I hope it’s to a bookstore. :)

And if you want to do a little Black Friday/Small Business Saturday/Cyber Monday shopping, my little vintage fashion shop and bookstore, Posh&Page, is having a sale on Etsy from Friday, November 29th through Tuesday, December 3rd. I’d love to mail you something that’ll make you feel fabulous.

I hope you enjoy this day and that you can feel gratitude beaming from my bookish heart to yours.

xo
