Thursday Word Day: Collywobbles

Happy #ThursdayWordDay word nerds!

Today's word is probably one your grandmother would've used, especially if she's fond of calling kids "whippersnappers" and saying something gave her the "willies."

Dictionary.com says, "collywobbles: noun. 1. intestinal cramps or other intestinal disturbances. 2. a feeling of fear, apprehension, or nervousness."

So next time you've got butterflies in your stomach, you can say you've got the collywobbles.

You know what gives me the collywobbles? Not getting comments on my posts. I'd love to hear your favorite funky vocab words, so share it and a link to your blog in the comments below and I'll feature you on a future #ThursdayWordDay.
