Happy #ThursdayWordDay, you awesome word nerd you!

"Quiddity: noun. 1) a measurement of one's propensity toward Quidditch"--

KIDDING! Though if that were the definition, I'd say my quiddity was pretty high because I've been wanting to join one of those Muggle Quidditch teams for YEARS.

So today's word of the day is--you guessed it--quiddity. Dictionary.com says, "quiddity: noun. 1) the quality that makes a thing what it is; the essential nature of a thing. 2) a trifling nicety of subtle distinction, as in argument."

Going by the first definition, my quiddity is books. What's yours?
