Thursday Word Day: Viva voce

It's #ThursdayWordDay!

Sometimes the best words are those that turn up the poetry a little. They may not be the longest, or have the most obscure meaning, but they take a common phrase and make it a little more poetic. Today's word is one of those.

Merriam-Webster says, "viva voce: adverb. 1) by word of mouth; 2) orally."

Viva voce has a ring to it that "word of mouth" just doesn't.
